What to look for in a CRM demonstration...

CRM Demonstration

A good CRM demonstration is critical to getting a starting idea of what CRM can do and how it will benefit your business.  The full capabilities of the system are immense, making it difficult to cover in a single session, however, at a minimum your CRM demonstration should cover the "traditional CRM" features and functions including:

Navigating CRM

      Define CRM terms
o   Lead  is an unqualified prospect
o   Contact is a Person with existing or established business relationship
o   Account is a Business with existing or established relationship
        -  Opportunities specific instance of business relationship

o   Working with Outlook
    o   Easily promote your selected Outlook contacts in CRM for organizational use and efficiency

Click Microsoft Office Outlook Contacts. Hold the Shift key and select the first column of Outlook Contacts. Click “Track in CRM” to promote these contacts to CRM. Click on “Mail” in Microsoft Outlook and click on your “Inbox”.

    o   Create a sales opportunity from an email

Click on “Convert Activity” in the E-mail form header. Click on “To Opportunity” to begin the E-mail to Opportunity Conversion.

       o   Deactivate
    o   Promote to create
